Our Process

Our simple process is designed to answer your questions, draft your documents, and get your estate plan signed in about 4 weeks, or on whatever timeline works for you. Every meeting except the final signing can happen virtually if you prefer.

This is a 45-minute educational session with attorney Emily Green. You'll get real answers to your real questions. We will talk through your goals and objectives for protecting your family and assets, discuss our flat-fee pricing, and decide if we're a good fit to move forward.

Peace of Mind Planning Session

1

During this working session with Emily, we'll roll up our sleeves and begin designing your estate planning documents based on the information you provided in your intake profile and what we discuss during our meeting.

Estate Plan Design Meeting

We'll carefully prepare your documents and give you plenty of time to review them. Along with your drafts, you'll receive a summary of the decisions you made, a detailed overview of your plan, and videos walking you through the documents. If you'd like, we can also meet in person or virtually to go over everything together, answer your questions, double-check names and dates, and make any changes you need.

Estate Signing Meeting

4

This is the day your estate plan becomes official! We’ll provide 2 witnesses and a notary at my office. Since we’ve already reviewed your documents, answered your questions, and made any edits, today is about signing your documents, celebrating the accomplishment, and discussing any next steps.
